Carrie McClendon

“Carrie Mac” is an Albertville High School alumnus who then later opted to pursue a career in the beauty industry. She graduated cosmetology school from Pivot Point Cosmetology Institute in 2007 and then became an instructor for cosmetology in 2009. Carrie’s desire to know more continued, in 2012 she attained a certification for CHI Education and then in 2014 Carrie added The Great Lengths certification. Carrie was first an educator at The Salon Professional Academy and then The Salon Institute prior to making her way home to �� of Cosmetology where she has been teaching part-time since 2012.

Carrie Mac is currently a full-time educator for our Esthetics Program. Her passion is in esthetics and enjoys working with all types of hair textures. She is also a huge advocate for CHI products and lives by CHI Silk Infusion for her hair and skin use! Carrie is one of a kind, she can make anyone smile and her personality sparkles like the glitter that she loves! Carrie’s ability to genuinely love all is astounding, she is also a foster mom to many children currently and has been for years. Carrie loves Jesus, her family, “Dolly”, and leopard print with a dash of COLOR! “In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven”

Vanessa Jimenez

Vanessa is a Susan Moore High School alumnus who also attended Blount County Career Center to jump start her desire to be in the beauty industry. She completed her cosmetology certification in 2016 at �� of Cosmetology. Vanessa fell in love with the concept of teaching and came back to join �� after becoming an instructor in 2018, where she took on teaching our day and night classes.

Her disciplined training method produces a sense of independence in our students, which leads to a huge part of their success. Vanessa also enjoys going hiking, kayaking, or anything that incorporates the outdoors. “Striving for success without hard work is like trying to harvest where you haven’t planted.” – David Bly

Meigan Hendrix

Meigan is a Douglas High School 2010 alumnus. She has two kids that are her pride and joy and has been married to her high school sweetheart for 10 years. She joined our team in 2012 as our receptionist after graduating �� in 2011 and then later on became our Administrative Assistant.

Amanda Baugh

Amanda is a Boaz High School alumnus and has a long term former history in finance and management. She has been in the beauty industry since 2011 after graduating from �� of Cosmetology. Being the ambitious person that she is, Amanda decided that her passion was this school itself, she and her husband decided to buy it in 2018.

Amanda loves to travel, especially to the beach and enjoys lifting others up. One of Amanda’s biggest dreams in life is to expand �� outside of Marshall County so that she can offer others an exceptional cosmetology related education. “Working hard for something we don’t care about is called stress.
